Time

The end is near for March, the ides are gone and the luck is over.
Spring break is  mended and staring us in the face is a fools day, many showers and a very good Friday shoulder to shoulder with the Resurrection of our Lord. These days are in line like school children and run as if on an endless wheel. I looked back just once and saw myself dressed in shiny patent leather  shoes, anklets with lace, a crunchy petticoat with complementing dress. I stood  patiently back in line and there I was looking to the right and I’m in my heels at the mirror applying concealer on the lines under my eyes.
Where does the time go?

The Birth of a Title

The title of my blog represents the two very things I love. 

They are inseparable. 

I can picture a book, one of my very favorites, standing tall on top of a stack of leather  books with it’s pages fanned in an arc.   Starting from the top of the standing book, a dark brown thick flow of chocolate is slowly making it’s way over and through the pages of a story and never stopping to rest.   I can picture the characters on the pages with their spoons in their hands slowly scooping chocolate words into their mouths and delight is ever present on their faces, lips and especially their tongues.

The senses welcome you to my world.
