That Day on the 14th!

On one of my  favorite sites, Without Wax ,is asking a poignant question about Valentines Day and going back to the basics…basically?  Please check it out.
That made  me think about the shoe boxes we would bring in and transform into decorated holders of precious valentines.   I would always make sure mine had glitter all over it and plenty of hearts.
Does anyone else remember what made Valentines special to you, inside or outside the classroom? Do you remember that special secret admirer, did you ever meet your secret admirer? What is your favorite candy, do you like the hearts with all the surgary words and phrases? What is it about Valentines Day that sends you?  Do you wax nostalgic ( no pun intended Pete) in the Victorian Age or are you all set for Sponge Bob Square Pants?  No matter what level of love you are intending for the other, you can rest assured, we all need it.  It is what makes the world go round!
