Absolutely Nothing

If I was on a deadline I’d be in serious trouble.  I’m sitting here trying to think of intelligent interesting things to write but instead I come up with Seinfeld like subject matter.  Nothing!!! absolutely nothing. 

It is dull and overcast with a chance of showers today, the kind of weather that usually stirs up a headache.  My house has lots of projects left to do and all I ‘d prefer is to take a walk to the diner for a cup of coffee.  I have finished my assignment for my upcoming writing class and hopefully it is above reproof.  My dog could stand to be walked and Dennys is having a grand slam give away tomorrow.  Normally I’d never go there but free is free and I like free right now.  I may walk out of there tomorrow with intestinal regrets but it is something to do somewhere to go. 

Job hunting I believe has been invented by the same person that came up with pantyhose and bras.  It is a necessary evil and to keep your spirits up among other things and food in your stomach it just has  to be.   I will  approach that on Wednesday with  the intensity of a seamstress during wedding season but  today it is the washer/dryer combo, my value meal so to speak, if I want to finish my laundry and clean up this mess and that’s  thanks to a repairman that couldn’t do his job correctly. 

I know there is a silver lining, I’d prefer gold, and it is around the corner, but sometimes you have to cross the street go through a tunnel, fly across the freeway and after all that a game of twenty questions and a shower awaits you.  In the game of life I believe I may be about to cross the freeway but already have dealt with the twenty questions some folks believe they are entitiled to  ask me because they can! 

 Is it paid my dues or paved the way to my dues…either way  it ain’t over till the fat lady sings and Simon and Randy have given away that golden ticket. 

How’s that for nothing!
